Undergraduate Researcher. Worked on the directed evolution of E. coli alkaline phosphatase and beta-lactamase mutants, in fulfillment of an honors thesis. Perform basic biochemical and molecular biology techniques, i.e.: assays, PCR, cloning, and mutagenesis, as well as participate in weekly group presentations and literature searches, and maintained databases of laboratory strains and plasmids.
